WHAT KIND OF TASKS CAN YOU DO AS A VOLUNTEER?
In the Gear team, you can enjoy the atmosphere at the heart of the event: from the competition arena. The team's tasks include moving the equipment to the competition arena and out between events and heats. You don't have to be super muscular to join the team, as long as you are able to move weights and equipment smoothly.
JUDGES
Judges play a significant role in organizing successful competitions. The team's tasks include familiarizing themselves with the events beforehand and judging the athletes' performances during the competition. A sharp and consistent line of judges guarantees an equal competition experience for the competitors. A good knowledge of the movement standards of the sport is an advantage in judging.
MAINTENANCE
Organizing competitions also includes a lot of different tasks that take place behind the scenes. The coffee pot in the volunteers' break room does not fill itself, the results are not transferred to electronic format automatically, and the precise control of the athletes outside the competition arena enables the event to remain on schedule. The members of this team are ready to respond to unexpected needs during the event.
